Steve Juett

Steve is the Founder and Managing Director of Underdale Drillers oz. Steve is a 4^th generation driller and started off with a background solely in water well and exploration drilling before expanding into civil and geotechnical. 

At 16 years of age, Steve started in the drilling industry working for his father’s family business. From there, his love and passion grew and in 2009 he branched out on his own to establish the company that Underdale Drillers oz is today.

Steve has gained an abundance of knowledge from his 40 years in the drilling industry and is well known for being able to tackle the trickiest of jobs in the toughest conditions. Steve is a jack of all trades with many licenses, competencies and certifications in various trades and for various plant and machinery. The most important being his Class 2 SA Drilling License along with licenses in other states and territories.

Steve prides himself on having one of the most diverse drilling companies in South Australia. He is an excellent mentor with his wealth of knowledge and strives to make a positive impact on the drilling industry. Steve is passionate about delivering high-quality services and is driven by a love of problem-solving – whether its tough ground or tight deadlines, Steve brings his expertise to every project.

Away from the drill rigs, Steve can usually be found behind the wheel of his dirt circuit race car or spending time with his kelpies on his property in the hills.

For Steve, it’s not just about drilling – it’s about people, communities and making a meaningful impact.
